Digimon - Royalty's Return (Ideas and stuff)

ok, basicly the idea is he season 2 group including the older kids from season 1 are in the real world living their lives but Kari's been real sick again and TK's a bit wierd as well. Then suddenly one day the whole sky goes dark and a huge portal to the digital world opens. Several digimon come out to attack the group but the kids digimon come out of the portal as well to help save the day.

The kids then have to return to the digital world, including Kari who's pretty weak as Gatomon says that Kari has to come... and that she'll feel a little better once they're in he digital world though she doesn't explain why.

Both TK and Kari seem a lot better once in the digital world though Kari's still somewhat weak. Not too long after they get there they're attacked again, several of the bad digimon going for Kari.

A large foating casle suddenly appaears after a while, however, and TK, Gatomon and Pegasusmon make for the castle while the other's fight.

The castle is pretty much immune to all attack so the baddies can't get to Kari. Once the other kids defeat the digimon they head up to the castle as well, the doors opening for them.

Now... the truth is that Kari is the queen of the digital world reborn and she's weak because the digital world is in trouble... just like she was when she was younger in season 1.

Kari, also known as Queen Karina, knew that she could not defeat the evil in the digital world alone... so she needed to go to the human world... but she couldn't leave her world unprotected... so she created Taki from the digital world's life force... a being that is directly linked to the digital world... perhapse even more then herself.

That is TK. All the memories that Matt and his family have of TK growing up are false... TK having only met them during that summer camp before they were thrust into the digital world.

Taki's job is to protect the digital world and it's queen... at all cost. Kari has no memories of this until Taki actually returns her memories to her... which can happen at any random time we choose.

But basicly Myotismon has returned.. but bigger and badder... Warlord Myotismon... nasty fellow for sure.

Now the castle is protected by many digimon including the main door guards Renamon and Leomon. Since Xion wants to play Leomon we can have him decide to travel with the kids to protect the oblivious queen Karina.

In the original idea I had TK and Kari become their alternate selves right from the beginning but this time I don't think I want to do that... so instead of meeting with Queen Karina... they meet with Leomon who explains that the digital world is once again in need of their help... etc etc.

If you've seen the series, in series 1 there's an episode where a bunch of digimon actually call Kari, "Queen Kari". That's a big reason I came up with this idea... the series felt... unfinished.

At some point near the beginning TK goes 'missing' and the group is soon joined by Taki, a strange digital human with long golden hair looking about twenty years old. Taki is withdrawn from the group even going far enough as being 'mean'. But Leomon insists that he travel with them to help and the others reluctantly agree though the kids and their digimon don't really like him... except for Sora, since she's the digidestined of love, who senses that there's more to Taki then meets the eye.

During the rp the digital world is going to be damaged a lot and a lot of digimon are going to be turned back into digieggs and whatnot. The most this happens the weaker Kari is going to get... TK/Taki as well.

Also in this rp I have it that in the past two seasons Kari and TK have taken the burden of digivolving on their backs... which means though the digimon have their own energy... it isn't quite enough to digivolve... so TK and Kari have always spared some of their energy to allow the digimon to digivolve...

In this rp... they're no longer going to do that... because they're too weak to. They will block off their energy so that when it comes time to digivolve the digimon will automaticly take energy instead from their digidestined making the other kids weak every now and then as well. Though for them it wont last as long.

It's really good! But I noticed that you make the plot go around a specific character(s) leaving the rest to just be there. Of course the main characters are important, but the plot should focus on the story, otherwise it will become boring soon, aside the fact that the other characters wouldn't be really needed most of the time... (Seems like it's happening in the main rp too, that's why we can't find what to do with the other OC characters.) Everyone needs to have an imprtant role to keep the plot going and exciting. Other than that it sounds good~

Well if you want everyone to be in the story then how about just make a sub plot for everyone? have all the sub plots tie in to each other as well as tie in to the main plot of course that way everyone is in the story for more then just being there. like maby there is something more going on then just what shadow has down? and the sub plots give clues on what is really happening? sounds like a idea to me X3

basicly I leave the subplots to be worked out as we go a lot so that whoever's playing the character can decide something for them. Like in the main forum there's the subplot section for the players to write down what they want. Our real problem is that a lot of us don't post much... like me XD I get writers block sometimes for like a month at a time.

Of course... Matt's subplot is... his brother goes missing but he doesn't realise that he's not actually his brother and his memories have been altered... so when he finds out he's likely to be pretty pissed off. I mean... that's years of his life that have been changed... he doens't know what really happened.

Sora's subplot so far is that when Taki gets there she can sense that something's up with him... that he's not just a jerk and such... being the digidestined of love helps with that. So I can see her keeping a close eye on him and stuff and maybe even following him at times... XD If you wanted she could even end up getting a crush on him. =P

Tai's is that his sister's really sick and he'd be worried about her health... and probably completely against bringing her to the digital world in the first place... so super over protective and always telling the group to stop and rest so Kari can rest and stuff and maybe getting into fights with some of the others. You know... one says if we keep stopping we'll never get there we're going... that would definetely be a Taki thing to say... or a Matt since he'd be worried about TK. And then they'd argue and shit.

I can see the group slowly falling appart with the stress and maybe eventually splitting up at one point into smaller groups. Tai, Davis, Leomon, Kari maybe... Matt, Taki, Sora, Ken?

Maybe Davis can come to actually hate Taki... I mean he doesn't get along with TK to begin with... and of course he'd be super protective of Kari too maybe to the point of getting spiteful if Taki goes near her. And of course, once Kari gets her memories would shrug off any advances from him because she knows that after all of this she's not going back with them. Before that... it would be typical Kari just too worried about the digital world and TK and all of them surviving to pay any attention to poor Davis. Maybe Davis can get depressed at some point and bitter.

And Ken... What if one of the kids got snatched by Warlord Myotismon... maybe Ken or Davis... Matt would be more interesting because of his link to Taki but since we have nothing for Ken right now that would be good. Course he's gone the whole badguy thing before. I don't know... Ken's always seemed... like a more distant character. Also, maybe Ken's curious about Taki and what he is... something like Sora but not necessarily trusting him. That just gives a reason for him to go with them instead of Davis and Tai when the group splits up. Unless he's the badguy at the time in which case he wouldn't go either way XD.

Maybe as they go on Matt starts to have dreams of his real past without TK and starts to get confused and question things... his real memories starting to surface... even to eventually get to the point where someone asks him about TK and for a moment he doesn't know who that is. He'd get somewhat flaky at times.

Tai would be the leader since he was the first digidestined leader of course. And we can have the love triangle between Matt, Tai and Sora... and of course TK, Davis and Kari... poor Ken gets left out XD Unless of course Ryoko decides to join us then she can bring in Yolie =) I mean if we get more people wanting to play they can pick one of the missing kids and we can find a way to bring them in easy.

As for Leomon... he's likely to be sort of the voice of reason along with Sora... he protects them and tries to keep the peace. Especially when it comes to the group and their trusting Taki since Leomon knows the truth about him. Patamon as well. Leomon would be protective of Kari and Taki even though Taki can take care of himself.

If you guys go any ideas... seriously... let me know and i'll work them in cause when I come up with my ideas a lot of the time they're based on my favourite characters so working in the others is sometimes iffy. =P
