Soon, Hana and Adam were wrestleing on the floor, Adam was going easy on her, because she was so small, but Hana was surprizingly strong. She pinned him a few times. Adam at one point stood up while Hana was on his back and she still refused to let go. He spun around in circles a little and she finnaly lost her grip. Then she grabbed his hand and pulled him to the ground where she had more of an advantage.

Personality: Tough, headstrong, and willing to protect anything he cares for. Weakness and pain is all that he knows of, but doesnt let it get to him. Trust is very hard to be earned from him. When he wants something he will get it, when and how he wants it, with no one standing in his way. Ed never backs down from a fight, and isnt afraid to die either. He takes risks and doesnt care what other people think of him. Quite arrogant, and though he can be an @$$ at times, he is mostly solitary and quiet, not the first to speak during a conversation. He doesnt get mad, he gets even.

History: Ed was born into a world of pain. His parents could care less about him, so he had to fend for himself. School wasnt much better either. He was always bullied and picked on, so keeping up with learning wasnt his main priority. He had to toughen up and stand up for himself, no one to help him and never being able to trust anyone. The day he discovered he was a werewolf, his parents feared him and kicked him out, never wanting to see his face again. The last time he was in school, he lost his temper and attacked a group of boys, wounding them badly. The police found out about this, and he ended up here, not knowing what to expect. All he knows is that this place looks like it won’t be much better than what he’s been through.

The guard gave a nod to his boss as he lets out calmly, “yes sir… he’s the one that had already made a run for it by the time we reached his home… It was like he knew we were coming. As if someone or something had warned him. He wasn’t shocked when we brought him here and when we went in to retreived the girls for testing today he attempted to protect the girl who later died… He attacked two other guards… sedating them with our own syringes.”

Ryou, meanwhile, was back in the room, asleep against the wall. He couldn’t stay awake any longer. He was exhausted after all. His breathing was slow and even and quiet as he rested… on the outside at least…

In his mind, however, he was having another vision… a vision of a brown haired boy being brought in… Edward. A werewolf… He could feel a dread wash over him… why were they getting so many more teens in this place all of a sudden… cause it seemed this definetely wasn’t the norm.

Ed didnt even bother struggling anymore as he was pushed toward a heavy locked door. Dread never left him ever since he saw the building, black tinted windows and ominous as it loomed over the other building. The guard behind him unlocked the door, and he felt like beating him up. He looked around the huge room, which reminded him of his school gym; something he didnt like to think about. The door locked shut behind him and he glanced warily around at the people in the room, clearly growing uncomfortable around them. There was an odd feeling to the air, and none of them seemed human, which was odd. Ed had never met anyone like him, he could barely understand what his problem was.

His eyes continued flickering among the people as he inched away toward a wall, watching them awkwardly as if expecting them to try and hurt him

Hello everyone … back from dinner. Doesn’t look like I missed much. ED! tackles

Gale did his usual pacing. not really paying attention to what any one was doing or saying. He saw everyone come back. He saw the new kid, but he was in lion form… pacing away like he was actually thinking. Nope. he was just bored. He thought about messin’ with Fox but she looked tiered so he left her alone. Then he heard a name he hadn’t heard before… or maybe he had but he hadn’t bothered to remember. “Who’s Elena?” He said, without taking his gaze from the cold hard floor. He didn’t give many people the time of day… mostly Fox and Blaze, occasionally Adam and Hana. So it shouldn’t surprise them that he had no clue who she was.

Blaze, who had been asleep, or the equivalent of sleep you get get on the “beds” here, had no clue what was going on. THat was something he didn’t like. “What the hells going on?”

What was this Hylle place? It didnt look friendly, nothing about it did, and he still had doubt about these people. He glanced at the lion, then back at Ryou, tilting his head to the side. He didnt get it, he didnt get anything, but he wasnt going to bother to ask now. He figured he looked like a freak standing there, so he nodded once at the boy who had approached him. “Ed.” He muttered quietly, averting his eyes to a little girl a few yards away. How did she know he was a werewolf? That creeped him out. He didnt trust anyone, even though they seemed pretty calm.

Ed didnt return the smile, and kept his stern look, crossing his arms over his chest uncomfortably. Stuck here? Did that mean they were in some sort of jail or something? It sure looked like it, but the thin beds in the room didnt seem so bad. He never really had a bed, usually sleeping on the ground. He needed to find answers to all the questions ringing in his head. Experiments? The dread that swept over him earlier was still there, but more present at the thought of being experimented on. He would rather die, leave this hell of a life. Ed took another step back, clenching his jaw nervously as Blaze approached him, looking from the little girl to Blaze. He glanced at Ryou and Gale as they argued, amused with Gale’s arrogance. Once she got close enough to touch him though, she let her fingers run through his fur and she realised how soft he was. She giggled a little and hugged him. He was so warm and fluffy.

Blaze gave a wolfy smile. He licked his wounds and laid his head on his paws, he fought to keep his amber eyes open but she kept shutting… he was exhausted. Changing took a lot out of him. He looked at Hana and wondered how it was to be a vampire, always craving blood. He glanced at Adam and wondered how they coped. like the rest of us… he thought.

Gale rolled over. once more looking fairly bored. He kept licking his paw and turned into a human. he got a bit of cloth and wrapped it around his abdomen, to stop the bleeding on his back

Hana looked at Blaze and smiled when she could tell he was asleep. Hana closed her eyes and slowly fell asleep next to Blaze, warm and comfortable. Believe me Gale, hell is made of 100% ice. Ice is much much worse than fire. Zeke sighed, thinking this. He would have said it too if it were not for the fight that broke out. He realized that quite litterally no one here knew his name. He thought Hana might, but he mumbled it so quietly he doubted she even heard it, yet for being here so long, he could name nearly everyone in this room. This thought made him feel even more alone. He stood up as everyone seemed to be falling asleep. He sighed, and was not quite certain where to go next. He was not tired, he spent most of his day sleeping. What else was there to do?

He looked around, feeling out of place, when he saw Ryou sleeping. He felt an overwhelming urge to uncover the truth, and he walked over to the corner where he had fallen unconcious. Zeke looked behind him once to see that all were asleep, and, certain that they were, he looked at Ryou, to be sure he was completely asleep. He snapped a few times in front of his face… no responce. This just might work. He held up his hand, remembering that he had done it once before when he was only 7. There was a thunderstorm, and he was at a big meeting which his father always made him and his mother attend. He was frightened by a loud crash of thunder and grabbed his mothers hand, and heard her voice although she was not speaking. He quickly released it, but knew he had just read her mind. Now, it was time for him to read Ryou’s.

Ryou’s mind was chaotic… going through the events of recently… Panting and the sound of running… someone shouting in the distance, “tranq him you moron! The boss’ll kill us if we let the little brat get away!”

Then it shifted to the sounds of the fight when Ryou was trying to protect Elena… “Just leave her for now…” “Just following orders! Move it!” fighting… screaming… then it shifted to the sounds of a flatlining machine… “she’s flatlining! Bring her back! CLEAR!”

It shifted again after that… the sound of a vehicle coming to a stop, doors opening and people getting out… then a sigh, “I’m sorry Mr. Quinn but it seems your son’s gone missing. Someone tore up the house and he hasn’t been seen for about a week and a half,” “What? Ryou’s… A week and a half?! Molly, i’m leaving… take care of things here…”

Another shift, the sounds of footsteps, the door opening and closing, “Blaze and Adam… come with us please. Don’t cause a scene, it’ll be a lot easier if you don’t,” then the sounds of screams and tazers.

As the petit figure rolled over to her side she slightly yawned. Her eyes were closed yet she was half awake. Annabelle decided to fall asleep, she hadn’t needed to stay awake, she heard footsteps but comforted herself into thinking it was a guard and began to sleep, she didn’t want to be ‘caught awake’ and didn’t plan onto. I guess I should just sleep she thought to herself as she opened her eyes, she was luckily facing away from Ryou and Zeke, she fluttered her eyes closed again and fell asleep calmly.

Zeke had his hand just on top of Ryou, his eyes closed, his mouth shut, as he listened to his thoughts, reading his mind. He was completely shocked by what he saw. A voice that was hardly an echo, to Ryou trying to protect elena, to her dying, to… his father? then Blaze and Adam, and the sounds of screams and tazers. Zeke realized with a gasp that that hadnt happened yet. He lifted his hand and stepped back with a gasp, and found it hard to breath suddenly. His eyes went wide and he stumbled back although he did not fall, and he gasped for air silently. He put a hand on his chest and breathed slowly, for it felt like he was choking. That was a strange symptom of his powers, but for what he saw, it was worth it. He knew in a single moment that Ryou could read the future.

Zeke stood in silence, now that he had regained his breath. His mind was racing. who nearly escaped? What kind of torture would it be to see someone die in your dreams, although you have not seen it in person? What burden would it put on him to know that his father, who clearly cares, will never see him again? And… Would they be able to save Blaze and Adam? And, one question, possibly the biggest.

Would he tell everyone what he saw?

Ryou tensed a bit in his sleep from the last vision, his mind knowing it hadn’t happened yet… something to… ‘look forward to’. He groaned after a bit, starting to stir from his sleep but was clearly groggy and disoriented as was usual with his visions. They left him pretty out of it for a few minutes or more afterwards.

Ed watched them, confused as Blaze attacked Gale. He watched curiously, his head to the side again. He had never thought there could be anyone like him, a werewolf, and never met a vampire. Wizards were just a myth in his mind, and he doubted the existance of shapeshifters, though he sort of was one. Of course they were all too real, and at least he knew now that he wasnt alone. He stood tense still as the little girl yelled at the two, raising an eyebrow at their wounds. How could they fall asleep here? Werent they stressing out about how bad it was here a few minutes ago? He ran a hand through his spikey hair, slumping on the ground about a yard away from the door.

Ed didnt sleep that night, he didnt want to, how could he trust these people? What if they tried to kill each other again and he ended up in the mess? He didnt really care if dieing became an option, but he was curious to know what this place was. He lay curled up motionless in the corner, seeming as if he were knocked out, and glared at the others, the anxious and dreadful feeling not leaving him. He didnt know what the hell that guy was doing next to Ryou, but he seemed as if he were choking. His head raised slightly, looking up at them as he listened. How could it be that torturous? What had happened to that Elena person? Part of him wanted to know, but he preferred to leave it alone for now.

He was still wide awake, and as the door to the cell burst open he stood instantly to his feet, jumping slightly as he was near the door. Ed backed up some, scowling at the guard and clenching his fists. He stood away from all of them, quiet like he had been pretty much from the start, continuing to watch them nervously. All the tension in the room made him want to attack like he normally did, but he held it back, his jaw clamped shut.

Zeke stood in the shadows at the confrontation. He remembered when he read Ryou’s mind. He didnt actually hear the two being carried away, only the sounds of tazers and screams… What if… What if it was the creatures who prevailed this round? That perhaps the guards set off the tazers, but could not take the two, and they were screaming in their own pain? What if it were possible? He stepped forward, standing behind the group. He casually walked over to the water cooler, and grabbed three bottles. He wanted to try something. With a small smirk on is face, he made sure that the three bottles were screwed on tight. Ryou was shocked as most of the guards retreated but before they did he managed to grab one of the sedative syringes bringing it towards the remaining guard and jabbing it in his neck. He backed up afterwords, shocked and a bit dizzy before he shook his head… no… this didn’t make sense… it had never… changed before. How could it change now?

Gale winced as the blade pierced his shoulder, he felt warm sticky blood drip down his leg. He growled and knocked the guard down, pining him with his two massive paws. He lowered his jaws and bit his stomach-area. The predatory part of him taking over he growled and lifted his mouth, blood dripping from his fangs.

Blaze watched his brother as he mauled the guard. The guard wasn’t dead yet but he would die of blood loss fairly soon. He knew Gale enjoyed it. It was the lion part of him… all of his forms were predators, none were the prey.

Koda watched as Gale killed the last guard that the others had left. She sat on the floor and leaned against the wall. She had never made that many things levitate all at once on purpose. Koda let out a long breath she had been holding and relaxed, feeling completely exausted. She stirred slightly, all the blood from the dead guard making her feel uneasy. The tension in the air was still there, after all this was the first time everyone had rebelled at once.

He narrowed his eyes before letting out, “grab the guns… I have a feeling we’re going to need them…” he lets out, bringing his hand out to levitate one of the guns to his hand, “Blaze… Adam… I think maybe you two should go and stay in the supply closet for now…”

She guessed they’d be back too, but why would Adam and Blaze need to hide in the closet? Koda shook her head and sighed, ignoring the questions that were soaring through her mind. Once the gun reached her hand she grasped onto it tightly. When they came back she’d be ready. They all would be. She took in a deep breath, preparing herself.

Adam stood, grabbed Blaze by the scruff and walked to the supply closet, dragging him along and pushed him inside before he went in himself and pulled the door closed, locking it from the inside. It didn’t unlock without a key from the outside, and they had all been lost over the years because there seemed to be no use to them. a lot of the guards didn’t even know that the supply closet was capable of locking.

Hana glanced at the gun, then up at Jet. Tears came to her eyes as she ran to the supply closet and banged on the door untill Adam let her in. She sat there with them, listening for the guards aproach.

When more guards showed up, there were ten of them. Some of them had tranqs, some had real guns, others had knives. They lined up in front of the door, waiting for the shifters to make a move.

Ed’s eyes darted at each of them, taking in every sight and sound quickly. When the three guards showed up, his knuckles turned white from being clenched so tightly. He didnt mind so much about Gale, toying with people was amusing, especially when watching others do it for you. Seeing the other werewolves phase urged him to follow suit, but he needed to keep control or he’d go off on all of them. As the wizards levitated the guns, he still didnt move, and didnt plan to either. Why should he follow them out to the building? He never trusted people, and wouldnt trust them now, for now at least. His eyes snapped to Gale as he attacked one of the guard. Idiot He scoffed, crossing his arms over his chest and continueing to watch them, waiting until the guards would leave. He would only get into the mess if it required him to, he wasnt ready to defend people he barely knew just yet.

Ed looked at the guy who had been ‘reading’ Ryou’s mind earlier and watched, confused again. He grinned as the vampire fell to the ground, and then watched as the guards fled the room. He wanted to kill someone right now, but he knew he shouldn’t. Gale would be too selfish and would want the kill all to himself. As if echoing his thoughts, Gale began to maul the guard. The amused grin stuck to his face as the vampire dragged Blaze to the closet. He was still leaning against the wall calmly, watching the action, but it was all wiped away as soon as the guards showed up. He tensed instantly, growling as tremors urged him to take his wolf form. He hadnt been in that form for a while, ever since the attack at school he had been pretty much beaten and thought that it would happen again if he tried.

Ryou sighed softly before looking to Koda, “because the guards are after them… they’ve already killed one person in the last couple of days… do we really want to add two more?” he lets out then narrows his eyes, growling as the guards came back in.

He pointed his tranq gun towards them before looking back for only a few seconds to push one of the beds against the door where Hana, Blaze and Adam were then looked back, keeping an eye on the guards before turning to send another one in front of the door… if he could stop the vision… then it would all be worth it… but he had a strong feeling… that wasn’t going to happen…

Koda watched Hana disappear and felt sorry for the little vampire for a moment. When the footsteps stopped, her pity disappeared and her attention snapped back to the guards. She saw Ed standing there out of the corners of her eyes and scowled slightly. He had just been standing there? They were trying to protect people from dying. Koda cleared her head, narrowed her eyes, and held tightly onto the gun, her knuckles turning white. Her heart beat went a little quicker, she was ready to get back at all the monsters who had destroyed her life. “You’re right.” She said to Ryou. ’You’re right’ were words Koda rarely used. Koda saw Reese shaking a little bit, which made her want to shake- but she refrained from doing it.

Zeke made up his mind to save the water cooler for only if they were about to die. He didnt want to deprive the group of their water. He walked over to the group, finding he did not have a gun, but stood amung them anyway, knowing he could be standing in the face of death. Speaking of death, the dead guard lay directly in front of where he stood. He glanced down at it and focused. The blood bubbled once. He nearly giggled. He could do it. He could control blood. He suddenly looked down, focused both hands onto the body, and lifted them up, spreading them wide in a ‘V’ shape above his head. The blood suddenly lifted in a fountain like manner, each guard getting sprayed directly in the eyes with their own guards blood. He smiled, and as long as he kept his arms up, the blood continued to flow. Then again, one human only held so much blood, and he only had so much energy, but he would continue as long as it gave them an advantage. He braced himself for attack.

Gale, jaws still dripping with blood from the first guard. He licked it off and roared at the on-coming ones. He watches Adam take a thrashing Blaze to safety and nods in approval. He shifts into a human, about to yank out the knife when he thinks better of it, and leaves it lodged in his shoulder. He shifts into a red-tailed hawk, his smallest form and hides next to the door, preparing for a surprise attack

Blaze on the other hand was snarling at Adam. “What the hell man?! We should be out there helping! Not hiding in here! Gale’s gonna get himself killed without someone out there watching his back.”

Adam watched, he sighed in reliefe, he thought that Blaze would probably kill him to get out of here, but not with Hana here. He would have to be seriously out of it to hurt him with Hana in here.

The guards waited…. “Well?!” One of the more impatient ones yelled. “Are we going to nock these stupid kids out or not?!” Then, Zekes attack took its affect. There were mutliple small yelps, and most of the guards were temporarily blinded.

Ryou didn’t wait much longer as he pointed his gun up at the guard with ‘the big mouth’ and fired. He was tense, heart thumping in his chest… he didn’t want to see anyone else get hurt… he didn’t want them to take Adam and Blaze away… He’d never had such terrible visions before and truth be told it was too much…

The one guard gasped, hand going to where he was shot in the shoulder and winced before falling backwards against the door unconscious. The other’s were starting to regain themselves one by one, two of them firing their tranq guns into the group of kids but their eyes were all still pretty blurry from the blood.

Blaze hugged her back, but his jaw was clenched. (he had turned into a human again) “He’s my brother…” He was clearly struggling with what to do. A — get Adam out of the way and go help Gale and the others, risking getting killed B — stay in here and risk having Gale get killed. He felt like tearing out his eyes in frustration. But he made his choice “Your my best friend too Hana…. But no matter how big of a pain in the a-s Gale is I have ot to go help him” Then he turned to Adam “Please make it easier on both of us and just move.” He didn’t want to hurt his friend. In truth Blaze couldn’t do any more than shove Adam aside, but he doubted Adam thought that.

Gale snuck up behind one of the guards in his hawk form and shifted, obviously into his lion form. He tackled the guard and bit into his bicep. He warm blood leaked into his mouth and he shook his head side to side vigorously, he could hear the muscle tearing.

Zeke tried to keep up with the spraying, but his head began to throb.Using his power at such an extent really took it out of him. Reluctantly, he lowered his arms, as the fountains of blood were lowered as well. He took a deep breath, trying to regain his energy, knowing well that most, if not all of the guards would be temporarily blinded, hopefully for at least a full 2 minutes. Blood burns. A tranquilizer zoomed past his ear. He looked up, ready to fight, although he had no weapon other than his powers.

Ryou jumped to the side when one of the guards tranq shots zoomed his way. He winced and quickly got to his feet again, taking control of the basketball and tossing it at a guard who was about to shoot before shooting himself at the guard, watching him topple to the ground soon enough…

Another guard, the one who’d spoken to the boss earlier, narrowed his eyes and brought up his gun towards the ceiling and fired. Bits of debris from the ceiling fell down towards the teens but it was nothing huge in the least… just enough to give them a warning, “That’s enough! We don’t need all of you you know… we could just as easily kill off half of you and continue testing on the rest…”

The boss was watching the scene unfold before him on the large screen in his office. He grunted. He pressed a button on the intercom on his desk witch would allow his voice to come out of hidden speakers in the cell. "You're wrong guard." The boss’s voice rang out through the room as sleeping gas was released into the cell. glass walls slid down behind the bar doors to keep the gas contained. There was aproximatly 10 minutes before everyone in the room was nocked out.

Thinking that he cant let the guards die because it would be too much collateral damage, and he knows blaze and adam are in the closet cuz hes been watching

we wouldnt be able to get to adam and blaze right now anyway with them locking themselves in the closet…

Zeke took the knife he was holding, and threw it, it sinking directly into the guard who spoke’s chest. It should have been a fatal shot. He smelled a foul scent, knowing it was sleeping gas, after hearing the boss’s voice over the intercom. He shouted out “ADAM! BLAZE! BRACE YOURSELVES!” He knew it wouldnt be long until his energy was lost. He felt himself losing it already. He used his powers and took the baseball, slamming it into another guard’s face, fighting until his last moment. He thought of something suddenly, and looked over to one of the security camera’s off in the corner. He took the baseball, and, not using his powers, just his throwing arm, he threw the ball, and it hit the camera, breaking it. He was overwhelmed with fatigue from the gas, and he knew he couldnt last much longer. He turned back, facing the guards that were now trapped inside the cell with them, locked in by the glass. He knew his physical energy wouldnt last much longer. He focused on a guards tranquilizer, and it floated up, stabbing him in the neck. He smirked. He refused to go down without a fight.

Ryou’s eyes went wide and he tensed at the gunshot clenching his eyes shut for a moment before the guard spoke and then they heard the bosses voice. He was shocked and worried as the gas began to fill the room. He brought his shirt up to his face to block his mouth as he held his breath, turning and focusing, moving another few beds in front of the door of the closet one at a time as he moved towards it, finally collapsing in front of the heap of beds.

Zeke threw a final punch at a guard, with such force that he felt the satisfactory crunch beneath his fist, breaking the guards nose. He stepped back, and attempted to move the gas, hoping it had water in it, but he failed. The room was spinning, and he felt himself falling. He did not feel the impact. One minute he was standing, the next he was on the floor. He did not feel anything, and his mind was not racing. He was… empty.. He soon slowly slipped into darkness, although he was hardly even aware of the difference.

Ed eyed the guards, watching the fountain of blood erupt into their faces. As Gale attacked again, he watched as even more blood contributed to the flood of blood on the ground. As a tranquilizer passed Zeke, instead it hit Ed in the shoulder, immediately numbing his arm. He growled, pulling it out before it could do any more harm. It left him slightly nauseous, but not enough to knock him out. He dodged the other tranquilizers, and snapped his attention to the guard who had fired the gunshot. Right when he decided to attack him, the warning probably saved him alot there. A voice rang out through some speakers, and he looked around quickly, not knowing where it came from. After that, a stale scent leaked into the air, and Ed lost his balance. He fell to the ground, light-headed, and held his breath, pulling his shirt over his nose. He couldnt hold his breath forever, but longer than humans could, and watched as Zeke destroyed the camera and tried to kill one of the guards.

He stood, grabbing a baseball bat lying on the floor and running over to where the guards were. He swung at a guard’s head, hard enough to hear the snap of his neck as he fell to the ground, either dead or paralyzed for the rest of his life. Ed breathed in some of the gas, coughing it out before another attempt at killing the guards and swinging at another one. After that he collapsed on the ground and blacked out.

Once everyone in the room was unconscious, the cell was emptied of all the gas. The remaining guards and staff quickly went to work removing all the passed out guards and weapons. After that was through, the beds were moved back where they belonged and bolted down to the floor. Now, each “mattress” had a name writen on it in big, bold letters. It was sharpie, so it wouldn’t come off. The lock on the supply closet was replaced with a doorknob that couldn’t be locked. Adam and Blaze were both removed and put into holding cells for the night. The holding cells were at the complete oposite side of the building. Gale was brought there too, but not to be held for tazer practice, to be punished for killing a guard. The rest of the shifters were placed on their beds and left in the room. It would take a few days to have a new security camera put in though.

2 hours later when the gas begins to wear off….

Hana woke up sitting on her bed. She groaned at its stiffness, then gasped. She was on her bed. She wasn’t in the closet. there were no guards and there were no guns in the room. Adam and Blaze were both absent as well. She stood up and ran to the closet. The doorknob had been replaced… She threw it open to find nothing more than their spots stuff. Adam and Blaze were gone… and so was Gale. She looked around to see if anything else had changed. The beds had their names writen on them, and were bolted to the floor, un-movable….

Ryou groaned after a while, slowly waking. He’d had the same vision again with Blaze and Adam. He slowly shifts to sit up and looks around. He frowns when he doesn’t see Blaze or Adam or Gale. A sudden feeling that maybe he’d made things worse instead of better washed over him and he brought his hand to his stomach, feeling like he might be sick.

Ed was fast asleep, being a deep sleeper he didnt hear anything or think of anything. His sides were barely moving, making him seem as if he were not breathing. One arm hung off the bed, his head near the edge of the bed and his body sprawled across the thin mattress. Not even his usual quiet snore was heard, he was silent. This was probably the only few hours he had ever felt completely comfortable, or at least when he wasnt concious. And it probably would ever be, since he never really had a bed to sleep on and had to watch for himself when his parents could burst into the house at any given night, wanting him dead for all he knew. He was probably so knocked out you could blast heavy metal and he wouldn’t wake up.

Zeke did not awake as the rest has, for in the battle he had strained himself to no end by using his powers, trying to protect those he had grown to know. He lay unconcious on his bed, his mind wandering to his father, wondering what he was doing. Probably just at a buisness meeting… He thought as he slept, picturing his father moving on with life, not at all caring about Zeke, and his mother, out with her friends, playing Bridge. No one cared about him. And if they did, they didnt show it. Sometimes, Zeke would want his fathers attention so much that he would go out of his way to get in trouble just so his father would acknowledge him, but his father would only shake his head, and leave it to the maids. No one truely cared about him.

Although it wasn’t as bad as she thought, she only tripped over the bed behind her when she stumbled back. “Ah!” She screamed slightly before, out of shock, phasing into her eagle form, she beat her wings with pure instinct and it slowed her fall, although she still fell to the ground, just softer. “Oh god, I need to work on my balance.” Annabelle shook her head and groaned, before walking over to an unoccupied corner and sitting down, her knees up to her chest, her chin on her knee and her arms wrapped around her shin.

Once again, the sound of the cart with the squeaky wheel was headed up the hallway. Cam was pushing it today. He was bringing extra blood for Adam and Hana, they weren’t supposed to get more than one bottel a week because it would make them too strong to get more than that, and food for the others that was more appitizing than usual.

Koda’s ice colored eyes fluttered open. She sat up breathing heavily as if someone had knocked the wind out of her. The last thing she could remember was killing a few guards, then blacking out. A sigh escaped her lips as the smell of food reached her. Eating had always made her feel a little more optimistic about their situations. Koda slung her feet over the side of the pitiful excuse for a bed and stood up. Suddenly, she became aware of one major thing- Adam, Gale, and Blaze were missing. Within seconds Koda realized why Adam and Blaze had to hide. The guards had been after them for some reason. “Where did they take Gale, Blaze, and Adam?” Koda questioned as she came closer to the group of people. She sat down, popped a g-r-a-p-e or two into her mouth, and waited for a reply.

Nothing really, Cam brought them extra food and people talked to each other and began to wake up

Ed was still fast asleep, but the scent of the food filled his nose and woke him up slowly. He grunted and rubbed his eyes, and then instantly snapped awake when he heard voices. Being at the edge of the bed, and still sort of loopy, he rolled off the thin mattress and landed on the floor with a thump. He blinked his eyes, acustoming to the bright light as everything from last night flashed back to him. He thought he was back at home on the cold hard floor, but he was in this large school gym filled with kids that weren’t human and people that wanted to kill them. Or at least that was all he knew, and that he coudnt trust anyone here. With a grunt he rose slowly, being careful not to stumble but his sore limbs made that difficult. He looked around quickly at all of them, and noticed the beds were stuck to the ground and had their names written on it. Ed backed away from them, eyeing the cart of food that stood near the door; he was tempted to take a steak but he didnt. What if it was poisoned? He wasn’t going to eat anything here, he could go a couple weeks without food, he had done it before. He needed to find out if anyone could be trusted before he did anything that could kill him.

Zeke tosses in his sleep, having been unconcious longer than nearly everyone. His nightmares had spun wildly out of conrol. It began with reminding him of all the terrible things he had done to get his fathers attention, but that quickly shifted to violence, blood, fire and ice. His nightmare was like the ultimate vision of hell. He woke with a start, darting up, sitting on his ‘bed’. He looked left, and right, to be sure the contents of his nightmare had not escaped into reality. He wiped his forehead for it was coated with a cold sweat. He took a minute to catch his breath, then put his feet on the hard floor.

Ed tensed when a girl walked over to him and eyed her carefully. He bit his lower lip, glancing at the food on the cart then back at her. Her words could be true, and he knew they were, but he didnt decide to go eat just yet. He watched as the girl walked away, and then looked to Zeke, who seemed out of breath. He was still sort of drowsy, and his hands felt numb as he flexed his fingers. He stayed where he was, watching the others still wary of them and keeping an eye on a piece of steak on the cart from the corner of his eye as he sat against the cold wall.

Gale woke up. He was a little groggy but he fought hard to shake it off. He smirked as he realized where he was. The holding cells. Why did they put him here when he “misbehaved”? Gale didn’t learn lessons. He had always been the “F the lessons I’m running in, guns blazing!” brother. He stood up and looked out the bars of the cell. oh well He would just hang out here for a day or two and go back to normal old Hylle. He smiled wider when he realized why he was here and none of the others weren’t. He had killed three of the guards…. well he knew he got two and then there was the one he got in the leg, he would either die or loose his leg all together, so Gale was pretty content. He knew they had gassed the room, and they probably had Blaze now which worried him, but he tried not to think about it. He thought about how that was the first time the new kids had seen him kill. He wondered if it scarred them. Everyone here either hated him, or was terrified of him. A lot of times it was both. Good Gale thought with stubborn arrogance Thats the way it should be.

Ed didn’t see Ryou levitate the meat over to him, and when he turned to look at the scent that had filled his nose, he scooted over to the side in a slightly suprised jerk. He glanced around and saw Ryou smirking, then looked back down at the meat. He was being paranoid, but he couldn’t help it in this strange place. He poked the meat, then lifted it up, sniffing it carefully. He hadn’t eaten in a while, so it wasn’t long before he tore into it, eating quickly as if he were starved. It was delicious, better than he expected. He wiped his mouth, crossing his arms over his knees as he sat boredly.
