He frowns at her words and sighs softly, shaking his head as he lets out quietly, “I wont tell them anything… Especially if it puts other people in danger which it probably will…” of course… he’d know for sure if he could hold that promise the moment they found out he really could see the future… after all… if he was going to tell then the future would be different and likely it would be definetly easy to tell if someone he’d said was affecting the visions.

Ed nodded at Ryou once in thanks, still sitting against the wall. He was calmer now, but not completely, he wouldn’t dare let his complete guard down. His eyes snapped to Hana as she ran to him, and he narrowed his eyes slightly, wondering what they were whispering about. He didn’t want to know, or at least for now, he had enough to worry about. He picked up a few words, now mostly concentrated on what they were talking about. Then strayed his attention away from them, going back to his slightly paranoid glances at the others minding their own situations.

The cell door opened slowly and a stumbleing Adam and Blaze were pushed into the cell. The cell door slammed shut again as the guard walked away.

Adam groaned and practically fell onto the floor as soon as the guard let go of him. Hana ran to him. She grabbed the bottel of blood from under her ‘bed’ and poured it into his mouth. She pulled him up into a sitting possition, He was weak. Too weak.

Lol he did, but only to Ryou.

Ed glanced toward Ryou again. He was beginning to trust the boy, slowly, but not completely. He didn’t seem hostile, at least for now, unless he was fighting. Not even when he fought did he fight bloody and vigorous like Gale. He somewhat forced himself to slightly smile as he nodded, and quickly returned to his almost frown look, which became more like his default expression. His head snapped at the cell door as it opened, and frowned as Adam and Blaze were shoved in. They were in poor condition, and he kept his attention on them for now. What had the guards done to them? Was this place the hell like the others said it was? Life to him was a hell, it had always been, and probably the only moments of peace he had gotten was here, when he was knocked out by that sleeping gas. If it occurred again, he wouldn’t mind, it was nice to be partially dead and forget that life existed for a good 10 hours.

Blaze blinked open his amber eyes slowly and groaned. He moved on his side and felt a sharp pain shoot up his abdomen. He grunted again and tried to sit up. His vision was a little blurry so he rubbed his eyes and it was a little better. The he said “Is Gale…okay?” Of course He was worried about Gale. He winced he aced and burned. All around he felt awful, but he knew Gale had killed a few of them. He hoped it wouldn’t have been his ‘last stand’. Blaze wouldn’t be able to handle that…..

Ryou frowned as he watched them before standing and removing his sweatshirt leaving just his T-shirt on. The sweatshirt had blood on it anyway. He then turned and headed over to the water cooler, taking out a bottle of water and heading over towards Adam first.

He frowned and undid the cap to the water bottle, pouring some water on a part of the shirt that didn’t have blood on it before attempting to move and dab at one of Adam’s injuries if he could. The water would be cool and soothing at least… hopefully ease the burning sensation a bit.

None the less, you have seen some sort of Vantriliquism, with a puppet and puppet master. (potter puppet pals anyone?) Well, her power gives her the ability to be the puppet master. She can control the bodies of any subject at a time. bodies not minds. The ’pupet’’ or more apropriately, ‘victem’ will find they have no control over their bodies. It is as if her mind forms the strings of a marionett, and she pulls them, causing the person to move. She normally does this with small animals, for example, she could easily train her German Shepard, because it was really her mind at work, and not the dog’s. Still, she has only done this sucessfully once on a human, and it ended up with the victem going into a coma for three days. after only five minutes of manipulation.It is always harder to move an unconcious subject, butnot impossible. Ryou just listened to the conversation going on and sighing softly before he looked over to Adam and gave him a bit of a smile and a calm nod, “you feeling any better?” he asks. He hadn’t actually touched the other’s skin, the only thing having touched him being the shirt so he hadn’t seen anything.

Ryou was always very cautious with his mind reading abilities… he had enough issues with the visions he had all the time… He didn’t need any more junk in his head… besides, it was rude. He wouldn’t want someone else reading his mind so he wouldn’t do it to others.

Annabelle observed the others with curious eyes, she knew some disliked eachother and some liked eachother. But must they really be fighting in this desperate time? Anna felt quite useless, vulnerable. Very bored indeed. Anna yawned as cuffing her mouth with her hands, hiding her yawn from others in polite manner. She looked around once more, her eyes fluttering open and closed for a moment as she stood up, she looked around once again, from Zeke to Gale, to Blaze to Hana, to Reese to Ryou, etc.. Annabelle ran her delicate fingers through her dark brunette locks in a calm manner, wondering what she should have done to help. Although she couldn’t have done anything useful, having powers such as her’s would have just protected the ones’ lives. But she couldn’t bend water, heal nor even read minds. Sometimes she wished she had a different power, but she loves forming into her epic crocodile form, same did she love to form into her kangaroo and eagle forms. No one here had seen her with her crocodile attitude, Annabelle is tending to leave it until last minute, when the guards and friends wouldn’t expect this ‘innocent’ girl to be a fierce crocodile. Oh my, the looks on their faces would be classic.

Zeke watched as Ryou did his best to help ‘heal’ Adam. He shifted his gaze around, to Blaze, Gale, back to Ryou, Adam, Blaze, Adam Blaze Ryou Adam…. Something occored to him. When Zeke read Ryou’s mind earlyer, he remembered hearing the sounds of screams and tasers. He had assumed that it was a memory, something that happened to Ryou in the past or a nightmare of what he thought could happen, since he was sleeping after all. But now, as he saw Adam with suck terrible injuries from being tazered, and Blaze as well, it made Zeke think… what if… what if Ryou was not seeing what had happened, or what could happen, but what will happen? The thought had never occored to him. Can Ryou see the future? Suddenly, it all made sence to him. When he had defened to save that girl, because he somehow knew she would die, and how he tried so hard to defend Adam and Blaze, and how he knew the exact people to protect. Ed rolled his eyes when Blaze lied, everyone could tell he was in pain. He watched them from a good distance, and raised a brow at Blaze’s gash. It was worse than he made it seem. He was amused and caught up in their arguing, grinning when Blaze threatened his brother. His mouth made an O when the girl punched Gale, and he winced when she kicked him there. By now he wished Gale throw the annoying girl at a wall or something. He scoffed at Blaze and Hana talking, then gave a large yawn. He glanced at Annabelle and watched her boredly for a few moments before glancing at Zeke. The guy looked lost in thought, glancing at Ryou, Adam and Blaze. He didn’t know what was going on between them, but he knew Ryou was hiding something. He wouldn’t have to ask about it though, it would turn up more likely sooner or later.

Annabelle rolled her eyes as she heard others talking, she was so bored. Like, bored out of imagination. She couldn’t even think about how bored she was, otherwise the boredome would bore her to death. Annabelle sighed in boredome once again, before shifting into her eagle form, the sleek feathers fluffed as she shook her pelt. The textures of brown perfectly patterned into the beautiful perfection random, I told you. She squarked a few times, before pinning her feathers back down to her pelt as she took flight. Soaring across the spacious room she watched as an eagle might with prey. Anna swooped down to Gale and Ed, she then swooped back into the atmosphere. Belle swooped back down, but this time she landed a few feet away from them, she tucked her wings neatly to her sides and squarked. Annabelle hopped forward and pecked at Ed’s shoes lightly, so she wouldn’t damage them. This is too boring she rolled her eyes as she hopped back, she stared up to Gale after battering her wings, slightly lifting herself high enough so she could land on the bed infront of them.

Ed tensed and backed up instinctively when Gale’s voice sounded next to him. His piercing copper eyes were slightly narrowed as if he were leering at him to go away. Then his attention snapped to Hana as she approached, breaking the cuffs that binded his hands. He looked back at Gale when she walked away, wanting to forget what he had asked and pretend to not have listened. He shouldn’t do that however, it felt wrong, but if he was being asked about his past, then he wouldn’t get a direct answer. He was racing through his past, wondering what he should say, and not seeing the eagle that squawked in front of him. When it pecked at his foot, he glanced down and took a step back, furrowing his eyebrows and clenching his fists all in one swift movement. He was still paranoid, and it would probably stay with him his whole life.

He ran a hand through his hair, nervous as it was to be around people, and worse having to bring up anything to do with what he had been through before he came to this ‘hell of a place’, which didn’t seem all that bad. “Uhm, long story. It’s something I prefer not to bring up. Being beaten out of your shell makes a person less social.” Ed looked up at Gale, his eyes dull and masking the pain it caused him to even think about what people had done to him. He hoped that was all he had to say, he never was one to open up to people, besides the fact he had no one to open up to.

Ryou’s head was spinning as the vision continued… the guards were in the room again. They were decked out in some armor this time though… Bullet proof vests and protective face masks and such.

He couldn’t tell who they were after this time, however, but they had guns and were asking the group to cooperate. He felt a wave of fear and nausea overcome him and wasn’t quite sure why as Gale stepped up, as usual, to start the fighting.

Soon enough it was another full out battle but he was watching it from afar. He could hear himself shouting at the other’s to stop fighting, the fear he felt building up. This felt different then the other times… he didn’t know why…

He just continued to sit there on the bed, clenching the bedding and staring across the room almost like a zombie, his face paled a bit.

[[let me know if that’s not ok with the Gale part and I’ll change it… or any part really… we need a good reason for them to fight… what if they cleared out the school’s library or something and decided to separate the kids? Specifically the real close ones… aka separating Adam and Hana as well as Gale and Blaze. Unless someone else has a better idea. Then the boss can just decide to scratch that idea and just send new kids into the library instead… aka the ones they’re going to have Ryou find… that way we don’t have to play too many of them]]

Ryou continued to stare off in the distance, in his mind one of the guards let a shot out into the air to try and warn them but it didn’t work… they continued to attack. He heard himself shouting loudly all of a sudden, “ZEKE!” before another gunshot went off… just before Zeke looked back towards him then collapsed to the ground.

The vision changed then… all of them in the room, the guards gone as well as Zeke. Everyone looked extremely upset. An accusation shooting towards him of why he hadn’t helped. That if he’d helped Zeke wouldn’t be dead.

He gasped after a moment, the vision dissipating, eyes blinking as he held back the nausea, taking deep breaths as he brought his knees up and placed his head on his knees. He trembled a bit, trying to calm himself but the vision terrified him…

Zeke eyed Ryou, becoming roughly aware that all was a dastardly silent. Zeke watched closely as the blank and expressionless face of Ryou began to twitch slightly, as if what he was staring at was too much, like one might do in the middle of a nightmare. The guard just snorted, narrowing his eyes at the two, “Stupid animals…” he mumbles before turning towards the door, “whatever… I’m not paid enough for this…” he says as he opens the door and closes it behind him, locking it then heading down the long hall, leaving the card of food there for them.

Ryou frowned, watching Anna snap at the guard as he sighed focusing on the two balls still as he tried to add in an apple from the cart. He lost his concentration, however, and the apple fell to the ground, the baseball faltered as well but he managed to catch it, keeping his focus on the basketball.

He then sighed and stood up, focusing on the balls as he moved towards the cart, levitating the balls with him. Every now and then one of the two balls would drop but he’d catch it before it hit the ground, the other one often wavering when he did this.

Ed sneered at her grin, holding back a bite at her face. If she wasn’t a girl, she’d have a broken limb by now, lucky her. At the mention of him being selfish, that was pushing him over the edge. Yeah maybe he was selfish, but that was because of his rough history, so of course he had no parents to teach him what was wrong or right, he had to learn on his own. His lips were pulled back over his teeth in a light snarl as he eyed her, stepping back when she shifted into a crocodile. His tilted ear heard Ryou and rolled his eyes, ignoring it. When the guard kicked the ball over at them, it hit the massive wolf in the leg. Ed whipped around to face the man, a sharp growl sounded from his clenched jaws, and dodged Anna’s attack. He wanted to attack him, but the man walked away mumbling to himself, so he turned his attention back to Annabelle.

The large black-furred wolf launched himself at the crocodile, his massive paw pressed onto its jaw, disabling her from biting him. His full body weight was pinning her as he stood on the croc’s scaly back.

She muttered (Of course not in English.) and suddenly did the crocodile ‘death roll’, meaning she twisted her whole body around (like rolling down a hill but on the spot). Hoping to crush this wolf, although she didn’t manage too, instead she just rolled out from under him.

Annabelle lunged her body at him, full speed. Which, being a crocodile, is very fast. Her jaws were apart in a defensive mode. She was now centermetres from this teen’s face. Bring it. If a crocodile would be able to smirk, she’d be doing that right now. She hissed, the low, growl-like hiss escaping her throat immidiately. And she lunged again, this time she didn’t let herself stop.

Zeke sighed, and began attempting to get the water out of his clothes. Even for one who could control water, it was no easy task. He wiped down each of his arms, the water splashing onto the floor from each one. His hands felt hot all of a sudden, then went back to normal. Damn blood. Zeke thought angrily. He repeated the process with his other arm, then sat down, doing the same with his legs, all the water just spilling onto the floor. He shook his head to get the water out of his air and put his hands on his face. (facepalm lol) He could hear the others fight, and thought, perfect. Just perfect. This is exactly what they want. They drove the stake in to rip us apart, and now, we are acting like the hammer hitting it farther in. Before you know it there will be none of us left. He grumbled something inaudably, and looked over his hands to the battle going on a few yards away.

Ed leaped clear when the crocodile spun itself like a top, raising a brow at her attept to crush him. In height, he was about four feet taller than her, and he wasn’t going to fall anytime soon. His lips continued to expose his dagger-like fangs, his eyes and face twisted in a snarl. Her hiss made the fur on his back prickle, and he wasn’t suspecting a bite at the face. Pain stung his face when the crocodile’s teeth dug into the thin skin on his muzzle, a loud, sharp growl of pain sounded from his maw. He paid no attention to the bed behind him, which almost broke when the large creature backed up quickly. Stupid oversized fish with teeth He snarled, pulling his injured jaws away from the croc’s reach. Anything but the face. He hated being attacked in the face, which made him even more enraged. A large paw swiped at the croc’s eye, missing slightly and clawing above the eyelid. His jaws were weaker due to the slowly numbing pain, but were strong enough to lock his teeth into the back of Anna’s neck. This way, it would be much difficult for her to reach his throat, but the rest of his body was exposed.

((Actually, usualy when crocodiles attack, their main attack is the initial lunge, and they can move up to like 95 mph in a nearly un-dodgeable attack. But, one can run from a crocadile because they cannot physically run, and their best attacks are always in water, for they can swim really fast. Annabelle flinched at the boy’s move and snarled, it stung like hell but she attempted to ignore it. As she started to wabble forward, Anna parted her jaws, her teeth alined and ready for more action. The skin above Anna’s eye started to weep, blood trickled down her face but she, once again, ignored it. (Attempted to.) She flung her head back, to the side. Her body eventually following. Annabelle growled and bared her canines, the large, yet blunt teeth (mind you blunt teeth are more painful.) aching to rest it’s grasp onto the wolf’s back, but as she lunged the wolf spun around to her neck, (i think?) and she missed. Although she was not satisfied, Annabelle corrected her move so she’d get the hind leg. Give it up, one of us are going to die and I’m not falling. She growled now loudly, loosing her temper. Not saying she had not already lost it, but she was going slightly easy on this wolf. Since she could still crush his bones. But Annabelle didn’t feel the need to, even if this boy was getting on her nerves.

Ed snarled, the menacing sound having a slight yelp to it as sharp fangs dug into his hind leg. His jaws clamped harder onto the back of her neck, his teeth trying to tear into the tough hide. A faintly heavy ball bounced off his head and the massive wolf let out another aggitaded growl. His clamped teeth didn’t dare let go of the twisted position he was in, for any wrong move the croc could have his spine snapped. He ignored Ryou for now, for some reason he felt a hint of slight trust for the boy, though it was a weak one. He was actually relieved the little girl wasn’t here, or else she’d be hitting him with the baseballbat like a pinata. The vampire boy was here, not that he cared, and his attention darted over to Zeke. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the guy holding up a ball of water in the air. A little water couldn’t hurt, actually he’d like some of it, his body beginning to become dehydrated. He had only eaten one steak, and that was barely enough to keep him going.

Glancing down at the crocodile’s green eye, the wolf released the grip on Anna’s neck, but not without pulling a few scales off, and turned his back on her. Instead of attacking the girl, he wanted an excuse for hurting someone, and preffered to launch himself at Zeke. His hind leg felt numb and dislocated, as if it were hanging from the ankle socket. Loosing a foot was better than loosing a head, good thing she didn’t bite his side. Large paws held Zeke’s arms to the ground, and the wolf growled in the man’s face, daring him to strike a counter attack at him. It wasn’t their fight, what else was there to do anyway? Ed released him just as soon as he had pinned him and stepped back, giving a moment of distraction with his back facing Anna.

Zeke was suprised at the counter attack, and the ball of water ended up on the floor beside him in a puddle. Zeke felt like he was not one to be threatened, and he was enfuriated, and sick and tired of the fighting, and the tension really got to him. He spran to his feet, simply thrusting his body foreward without his hands with virtually no effort. He glared at the wolf, his eyes suddenly bloodshot, as the anger took over him completely. He gave a look to the crocodile, knowing this was the chance for her to attack, but he did not give her the oprotunity. With a shout of rage, Zeke lifted his hand, lifting the very wolf.

((CAUSION there is about to be some powerplaying here, and I really just wanted Zeke to go out with a bang because he is going to die soon anyways, and I wanted it to be more of an epic sort of death, so I decided to make him like, oober powerful right before he is killed, just to add some drama. I hope that is alright with you, and if it is not, I can just as easily edit this post. ))

He pulled his arm back, fingers extended, and then thrust it foreward, slamming the wolf against the wall. He took the other hand, and thrust it at the crocodile, not using his power to move objects on her, but instead, using his own to control water, and he began twisting that hand in a way that would make the girl’s blood pump faster and faster, making her heart beat quicker, making her more tired, and, although Zeke himself did not realize he was doing it, he was also changing the temperature of the water withen the blood, as it slowly got colder.

As he was doing this, he yelled, “ENOUGH!” He held the wolf against the wall and kept his power against the girl, breathing heavily, his chest heaving up and down. He just simply snapped. I have had enough of this anger! of the rage! Enough of people dying! Of people leaving only to come back tired and wounded, people getting tested on, used as guinie pigs and lab rats for freakish experiments, meanwhile the only ones who could do anything about it sat back and resided to fight with eachother instead of dealing with the problem! I don’t give a damn if you are bored and irritable! Fighting eachother is not going to solve ANYTHING so get over your damn egos because no one cares who is stronger here. No one cares who can fight better. No one freakin cares! This place is already hell, and we don’t need you to add to it just because you are freakin bored!"

In the anger of his speech, he pressed against the wolf harder, and made the blood run colder, without realizing it. His nose began to bleed from the effort of this, and his head began to throb. But he ignored it, pushing the pain away. There were things more important than pain. More important than exaustion. There were things that mattered more than the constant nagging in the back of his mind that he could be hurting the two. There were so many things more important than the blackness crowding the corners of his eyes as with this power made him want to pass out. This was one of those things.

OOC: Wow. I just read through what I just wrote, and I am like gosh, I got really into it there. xD That is like, godmodding, powerplaing, and so much more all in one. I actually feel kind of guilty for writing all of that… I mean, like, I hardly realized I was doing it, really. xD So if anyone wants anything changed, don’t hesitate to ask. xD I just keep telling myself zeke is gunna die soon it doesnt matter zeke is gunna die soon it doesn’t matter but I still feel guilty. xD

Anna’s eyes widened as the large wolf snapped off a few scales, which if she was human, it would have been skin. She roared slightly but the pain got worse as she tilted her head to watch him lunge at Zeke, this is really frustrating. What had gotton into her? (Eh, crocodile instincts XD.) Maybe she just got pi*sed off when he started to be rude to her. Oh well. Annabelle started forward, but was amazed when Zeke thrusted the large werewolf against the wall, Wow.. She blinked. Strength really can take over when you’re mad.
Anna winced as her blood began to thrust faster, faster. The pain was too much, it hurt like hell! But then… She began to get colder, and her whole bodice started to tremble, she allowed herself to phaze slower than usual, not because her blood was fast, that would make it faster, but because she hated the cold.
She curled up slowly, her knees to her chest. She whimpered softly as all her warmth washed right out of her body, her head began to ache horribly and her eyes stung. As she wrapped her arms around her chest, allowing her legs to tremble against eachother. Her teech chatter as she became paler than before. Most of Annabelle’s colour washed out.

Zeke heard Ryou yell at them to knock it off. He turned his head to him, fury still burning in his eyes, but as he turned back, he saw Anna curled up in a ball, pale and shivering, and Ed struggling against his invisable grip, for with the pressure, it had to make it hard to breathe. Zeke realized he was doing the exact thing that he wanted to stop, and, angrilly, more at himself now, he thrust his arms downward, releasing the magic, dropping Ed onto the floor, and allowing Anna’s blood to move at a normal pace. He saw the basket ball nearby, from where it had bounced when Ryou threw it. He kicked it angrily, and it flew across the room, bouncing on the wall, back to him. He saw that it was about to hit him in the face, and held up his hand. The ball froze right in front of him. He angrilly closed his fist, and the ball fell to the ground, deflated. He stormed towards towards a dark shadow of the room, sitting in the small space between the bed and the wall, which was barely big enough for him to fit in, but was just the right size. This small area was as close to alone as he could get. He brought his hands to his face for he just now realized how much his head was throbbing, and he tasted the warm metallic tang of blood as the blood from his bloody nose reached his upper lip. He wiped it away on the back of his hand, and took deep, shuddering breaths, trying to get his own heart to beat at a steady rate.

xDD I won’t promise anything

The wolf’s ears flicked back anxiously as Zeke sprang up, looking like he wanted to kill them both. His reaction suprised him, and Ed was about to turn away before he felt a hand on his chest. His eyes snapped down to the man managing to hold him up a foot or two off the ground, and before he could react his large body launched at the wall like a cannon. A surge of pain ruptured his back, and a muffled whine escaped through his clenched jaws. As the man held him against the wall, Ed tried his best to keep from tearing his face open. The pressure on his neck infuriated him, was he trying to choke him? It was working, but all that extra fur cushioning his neck helped. That’s right fool He narrowed his eyes at him, pleased Zeke was also in pain.

He completely ignored everyone else, forgetting anyone but him, Annabelle and Zeke were there. If he stepped on Hana, that would be her problem, and if he accidently hurt Ryou, one more thing for him to worry about. As he tried to snap at Zeke’s arm, his breath wheezed out as he ran out of air, barely keeping up with his quickened pace. And then he was on the floor, coughing out wheezing barks and bristling with anger. He turned his head to glance as the boy was about to get hit in the face with the ball, how that would have made his day. He could just punch him, he had an excuse to. And he was going to do that, maybe teach the stupid guy a lesson.

Ed hauled himself on his four paws, feeling as if his head might burst. It wasn’t throbbing, it just felt stuffy. He ran up to Zeke, who was curled up in the shadows, and skidded to a stop. He bared his teeth, snarling at the boy for trying to hurt him. I’ll get you later With a stubborn growl he padded over to where he had been before, before he began to insult Anna. Taking a deep breath, he winced for the short upcoming pain and phased back into a human. His boxers were torn up, good thing he slipped his pants off before he shifted, a helpful trick he had learned. Ed pulled on his old jeans, tossing his torn shirt aside and grabbing leather jacket off his bed. “Here.” He walked up to Annabelle, grinning amusedly at her curled up in a ball and held out his jacket to her. “I’ll pretend this never happened.”

Annabelle slightly shivered at the thought Zeke had almost killed them both. It was kind of scary, how Anna sort of… Lost her temper for no reason what-so-ever and that boy snapped at her in the air, and somehow he decided to put the whole thing behind them. Good idea, though it was making her uncomfortable how she had torn her clothes..

Annabelle grimmaced, she was so embarrassed. I mean, this whole thing seemed like a blur to her. How did this start again? She slightly groaned and looked up to Ed, “I guess we kind of got a bit insane there huh?” She quickly reached out and lightly took the jacket off him, it was nice. Anna always loved leather.
“You’ll pretend that would never happen,” she slightly chuckled as she slowly pulled the jacket over her shoulders awkwardly. Really Annabelle was used to fighting with guys, so she wasn’t all ‘Oh my god I just broke a nail!’ or ‘oh my god I’m naked!‘. She wasn’t really like that, though she still liked to have clothes on. Curse this darn gift. Annabelle rolled her eyes and stayed seated, she sort of sat there awkwardly.

Ryou groaned softly as he came out of his vision finally. It seemed like Hana wouldn’t make it. The thought terrified the teen as he curled up, pressing his face to his knees and shivering a bit. He managed to keep from sobbing but the idea that the little vampire wouldn’t return left him almost panicking but he managed to hold that back as well.

He couldn’t imagine what Adam would do if he found out Hana was never coming back. What the others would do. She and her brother, after all, had been here the longest. Just their presence gave everyone hope for a longer life here in this hell. Sure it was a terrible place, a he!l on earth but that didn’t mean any of them wanted to die to escape it. At least he hoped not. Though right about now the thought did dawn on him that if he was dead these visions would go away.

Ryou sighed, frowning at Zeke’s words as he rested his head on his knees again, “people are dying…” he let out quietly, “and I don’t want to see it anymore…” It was cryptic… but it was the truth as well. He knew Zeke probably wouldn’t understand though.

“You see-” He began, but stopped short. He felt that that statement was all he needed to cease his suspisions. He knew now, and since he had read this man’s mind before, that the answer he came up with had to be true. Zeke sighed, with a bit of a shudder. People were dying. That was all he said. All that Zeke could think of was if he was one of them. “Who.” He stated, not really a question, more to himself, but then he looked directly at Ryou and demanded “Who! Who is?” His voice was frightened, worried, curious, but hushed, so as not to arise the suspisions of those around them. “Ryou. Who is going to die?” It was strange how he worded this, that it was not past tense not who died, and not present tense, not who is dying, but who is going to die. It was as if he was asking if Zeke himself was the next victem, without using those exact words.

Ryou frowned, gnawing on his bottom lip as he murmured out, “I think Hana’s going to die… they… I’m sure they gave her the same stuff they gave Elena before she died… The reaction was the same. But I didn’t see her flatline or anything like I did when it was Elena… And…” he went silent. He wanted to tell the other but how do you tell someone they’re going to die?

Quietly, and slowly, the cell door opened, and a sad looking Cam stepped in, holding a limp redheaded girl. Hana. She had many cuts and scrap.es on her arms and legs, and bruses wherever there weren’t cuts. The little girl was a sad sight, any human would automaticly think Hana was already dead, but the people here were diferent. These prisoners, sadly thats what they were, knew how things worked around here. They wouldn’t bring her back if she was dead. She could easily still die, but she wasn’t dead yet. Cam closed and locked the door behind him and carried Hana over to her bed. He layed her down, and met Ryou’s eyes, then Adam’s, and left.

Hana, a limp little rag doll lying on the bed was barely breathing, and her eyes were closed. the only signs that the girl was still alive was the ocasional, very faint whimper that escaped from her lips.

“Yeah.” Ed sat a foot away from her, a faint grin on his face as he looked at Ryou. The kid looked like he was about to cry and panic, and that made his smile widen amusedly. His face hardened when Zeke stood, and he sat watching the two like a hawk. It was slightly easy to hear them over the quiet in the large room, though their voices were still low. When the boy stated they were going to die, he became just as curious to see who it was. The answer came moments later, when Cam walked in carrying the little leech and set her down on her bed. The girl looked as if she had been beaten, maybe even worse, and seemed she could die the next minute or tomorrow. He eyed the guard as he walked out, still wary of these people even if they proved to be friendly. Ed didn’t like the annoying vampire, but to see her in that state was a bit disturbing. He didn’t move from his spot near Annabelle’s side, instead glanced at her once waiting for the others’ reactions.

“And…” Zeke began, trying to ask him to finish the sentence, to tell him the secret that was hidden just beneath the surface. Zeke could see that he held something back, he could see it plainly on his eyes. Still, it was at that moment when Cam walked in, carrying young Hana. Zeke looked over to her, and it pained him to see her like that, for it reminded him of something many many years ago, when he was young, only a bit older than Hana now appeared. It was strange how he had not thought of any of this until now, but now, his mind was flooded with memories. Sarah… He thought, the very thought a whisper, but he pushed them aside. He gave Ryou another look, but this look was final. He sighed, at first his eyes were searching, but then he closed them, bowing his head, as if not only understanding, but accepting the fate that lay ahead. He stood, and walked towards Hana, but moved past her. He instead grabbed a water bottle, the only thing available to them 24/7, and unscrewed the lid. He moved over to Hana, trying to think of how to do this. If he could control blood, couldn’t he help heal her? But it would take some serious consentration.

And his mind could simply not consentrate. Not after the half-conversation he and Ryou just shared. Zeke was no idiot, and he was always one to jump to conclusions, so now, he made up his mind that the only reason why Ryou would not spit it out was because it was himself he was thinking of. Zeke did not enjoy the thought of dying, who would? But what could he do? Sometimes you just have to lookat the reality in front of you, and accepted it, no matter how hard it is. There are things more important in life than worrying about how your own future will turn out. Zeke kept telling himself that, as he refrained from touching Hana, not wanting to know the terrible thoughts running through her mind.

Ryou looked away from Zeke when the other tried to get him to continue. His stomach did a flip, face pale. He wanted to throw up. He didn’t want to have to tell the other what was going to happen to him. He didn’t want to give the other the terrible news… No one should know when they were going to die… that’s why he’d kept it from Elena… as well as to protect himself of course.

His head snapped towards the door when he heard it open, gasping when he saw Cam bring Hana in. He frowned, heart leaping in his chest. She was here… and she was still alive… but she looked absolutely terrible. He looked back to Zeke in time to see the other’s look then the slight bow the other gave. He frowned and gnawed on his bottom lip.

When Zeke got up and moved towards the water cooler then back to Hana he moved quickly as well, stepping over towards the redhead and kneeling down next to her. He was lightly trembling, sick of the visions, as he reached out to touch her cheek, worried about her. He’d completely forgotten about what would happen if he touched her, far too worried about her health.

Zeke watched Ryou, seeing the sick look in his face. He sighed, knowing Ryou’s power was a curse, and that none should have to carry such a burden. Seeing him reach out for Hana’s cheek, his eyes went wide, and he threw out his hand and snatched his wrist, just before Ryou touched her. “Stop!” He stated, and although the exclaimation was softened, in the utter silence it seemed quite loud. Zeke did not want Ryou to go through any more pain, he did not deserve it. Then again, Zeke himself did not take into account what Ryou himself was thinking, but whatever it was, it would be worth keeping Ryou from getting all the more miserable.

Hana opened her eyes a little and looked at Ryou, then at Zeke. “Ryou….am I….am I gonna die?” She asked. Her voice was weak and tired. “Is….Adam……okay?” She murmered, turning her head a little and looking at her brother lying there on his bed. He was better than he had been and was only sleeping but she couldn’t tell that. She closed her eyes and fell silent once again, too exhausted to keep her eyes open.

Ryou gasped, tensing when Zeke grabbed his wrist, startled for a moment before he relaxed a bit, looking towards the other and frowning, finally realizing why the other had stopped him. He frowned, eyes turning to the ground as he let out quietly, “thanks…” he murmured before looking to Hana as she began to wake up. His eyes brightened a bit before dimming just as quickly as Hana asked him if she was going to die.

He looked away from her and sighed softly, shaking his head as he murmured, “I… don’t know… I saw them inject you and stuff… and then I saw you seizure… but I didn’t see anything after that. I’m sorry… I wish I knew. But that means there’s a big chance you wont die… you just need to hang in there…” he let out as he looks back to her, giving her a very weak smile before looking back towards her brother, “I think your brother will be ok… He’s exhausted though… He didn’t get it nearly as bad as you did… He’ll be fine.”
